Greendale Overhead to Underground Conversion

Primoris’ scope was to convert the Greendale neighborhood to 24.9kV system, install 7.8 miles of underground primary cable, install 1 mile of new underground secondary cable, transfer all customers to the new system and remove 4.5 miles of existing overhead distribution lines. The project was very successful, customer satisfaction was very high, our field leaders worked very diligently to schedule and coordinate all work and outages with local customers to limit disruptions and accommodate special needs. We worked closely with the owner and state agencies to develop schedules that could be accommodated by the locating group.
