Verizon 5G DFW Build

Future Infrastructure has partnered with both Verizon Wireless and Verizon Business to provide turn-key services for the Verizon 5G build in the DFW market. The broad scope of work presented by the client included engineering, OSP construction, cable placement, fiber splicing, and node construction, uniquely positioned Future Infrastructure as a single source provider for the client.
The planned scope of work under contract with Verizon business includes over 1 million feet of underground duct installation, roughly 250,000 feet of aerial fiber construction, and nearly 1.5 million feet of fiber optic cable placement. Future Infrastructure was also contracted by Verizon Wireless to provide small cell site installation, maintenance, and upgrades on over 600 sites in the DFW market. In addition to OSP construction services, Future worked closely with Verizon design teams and local municipalities to provide design, permitting, and as-built services.

Australia Gorgon LNG Project

Engineering, design, and supply of equipment/materials for six Waste Heat Recovery Units (WHRU). Each of the WHRUs were installed in the exhaust of separate GE Frame 7EA gas turbines, designed within stringent parameters for controlling noise output once installed, to protect the local habitat. The WHRUs were designed and fabricated as modules to minimize on-site construction.

Heartland Petrochemical Complex

OnQuest and Primoris Canada are working together to support the installation work at the IPPL PDH (propane dehydrogenation) site. Radiant cells for three of the heaters are erected at the site, including platforms and ladders, and are ready for the installation of the corresponding convection sections on top. The fourth heater radiant cells are erected with the platforms and ladders soon to be installed. Fabrication of the balance of materials consisting of stacks, convection sections, and ductwork has been completed.

Duke Energy Norwood Station

We were awarded this project by Duke Energy to connect approximately 7,000 LF of 20” pipe to six different Duke systems through five control valve and metering skids. We installed six mainline valve assemblies and built a 100’ x 190’ building around the control valve assemblies. This project also included six open-cut road crossings on a busy street in Cincinnati, OH, which involved coordinated traffic control with the city and support from the local police department. Several of the tie-ins were in the street and required significant shoring provisions to protect workers and the public. There was also a large gas heater with its own 2,000 SF enclosure and a 900 SF climate-controlled storage building. We self-performed all of the mechanical work, excavation, and site support craft. The project had no recordable incidents or major injuries, and the welding crew completed almost 1,200 welds with only one repair.

The scope of work included:
» 5 control and metering skids
» ~7,000 LF of 20” pipe
» 6 open cut road crossing tie-ins
» (1) 100’ x 190’ regulation building with overhead crane
» (1) 40’ x 50’ heater building with gas line heater
» (1) 30’ x 30’ storage building
» 6 main line valves
