Sawgrass WWTP Reuse Facility

The City of Sunrise conducted a Reuse Feasibility Study that determined a reuse water treatment facility would provide a solution to regulatory and customer needs. Based on this finding and other subsequent studies, Primoris Water & Mechanical constructed a 2MG expandable reuse side stream secondary effluent to tertiary reuse standards. This new reuse facility was constructed adjacent to the Sawgrass utilities water and wastewater.

Charlotte Douglas International Airport Project

Primoris Water & Mechanical worked on the Charlotte Douglas International Airport project installing a turnkey utility corridor including chilled and hot water piping, telecommunications duct bank, and all related site work. The team completed the final auger bores under road crossings. Once the critical phases on Rental Car Rd and the airport’s loading dock were substantially complete, the final focus was piping tie-ins; testing and flushing; and startup and restoration.

Boulder County Restoration Assistance

Q3C assisted in relighting Xcel customers that have were affected by the wildfires that occurred near the town of Boulder, CO. Several thousand households around Boulder were without natural gas, and 7,500 households had no power, according to Xcel Energy, the local provider. The company said that electricity would be restored later, but that natural gas would take several days to restore all affected households.

Enterprise M2E3 Seg. 4 & 7

Rockford completed a total of 134 miles of 36-inch pipeline as part of the M2E3 project. Segment 4 was laid in mostly dense rock formations that required blasting and rock trenching while Segment 7 was very congested, running through pipeline corridors south of Houston. Included in Rockford's scope were 26 horizontal directional drills, 188 bores, and 15 mainline valves. Welding was performed using a combination of CRC's automatic welding system and manual stick rod.
